On Sunday, May 3rd, at 1PM in CPAC 119 at Cal State Fullerton, I will be presenting the final recital of my Master's program. It will feature an all original set (much of which will be performed for the first time) including a wide array of styles from hip-hop, rock, funk, prog, free, and a light sprinkling of straight ahead.
This is a little bit of a multi-movement conceptual piece titled: "it begins with the other"
You will see/hear me on a few different instruments (in addition to the pen) as well as out in front of a fantastic big band (tba). Don't miss your chance to see this music for $free.99!!

Your boy was out and about a lot this year. I even got to fly a plane (under proper supervision)! I played some trumpet, saw some sights, and tried quite a few new things. Honestly, it was difficult to take in at the time, but it was a packed year. I'm sure the weight of Things ™️ has squeezed some of the joy out of the experience of many, and I'm not one to say "chin up, everything will be alright", but I'm figuring out how to make the best of each moment. I'll keep trying to make connections, live more honestly to myself, and hopefully contribute a little something to this whole thing!
