I've got my first side effect of the virus: elbow tendonitis. Resawing two walnut slabs last week by hand seemed like a fun challenge to try to stay distanced. One long day and a beer growler later I made four pieces of wood out of two. My vises from have been fantastic, thank you!

I took a bit of time off recently to finally get around to some personal projects. One of which was this overly complicated box. We don't watch a whole lot of TV, but after nine years Mel and I have upgraded from our laptops. Thanks to for harvesting this beautiful walnut.

A while back I hacked together this ripping sled for what I thought was a one time necessity. I now use it for all my rough cut lumber and slabs that would take more than a couple passes on a jointer. A track saw could do the same, but with the power of the table saw I get no bogging down, and it is much faster to make micro adjustments.
