This was an interesting little job. These were inexpensive windows masquerading as fancy divided light windows. Someone very very very cheaply added dividers to the outsides of these windows so they fit in with the rest of the neighborhood. Smh... Then, they got wet for years by a misaligned sprinkler system and started to rot.

No problem! Order some vinyl material, glue them together, cut a 19° bevel on the ends and Bobs your Uncle.

Well, after seeing it for the first time and thinking about it for about a week, I divided a plan to not only enclose them, but also have three removable panels for service, eventual replacement and being able to vent heat in the summer.

I have a real love/hate relationship with work. On one hand, I absolutely love helping these old homes survive another year in . It really makes me proud to do it.

On the other hand, the natural fact that everything can't be perfect because these old houses aren't perfect drive me I N S A N E.
