Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Family,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved friend and co-host, Sheena Payne, on September 25, 2024. Sheena played an instrumental role in the development of this podcast concept. We had been nurturing since Thanksgiving of last year, 2023. Her boundless passion and unwavering dedication to this shared vision was nothing short of inspirational.

Just one day before her passing, Sheena sent a message that will forever resonate in my heart: “Regina, I might not make it to the studio, but I just wanted this so badly.” These poignant words reflect the depth of her commitment and the love she held for this project, even in her final hours.

As Dr. Janet Palmer and I move forward, we are resolute in our mission to honor Sheena’s legacy by bringing this podcast to fruition, as she so deeply desired. Your ongoing support during this incredibly challenging time has been a source of immense strength for us, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
