We often get asked “can you include the bolts?”

Unfortunately our current way of organizing bolts has not allowed us to include or sell bolts.

We keep everything on these MR2’s, yes even the bolts, but they currently just get thrown in bins or boxes with no easy way to find specific ones. We bought an organizer today and will start filling it up and labeling popular bolts that people ask for (fender liner hardware, interior screws, subframe bolts, etc.)

Some we will charge for and some we can include with parts orders.

Our first ever Bring a Trailer car will be submitted tomorrow. A lot of love went into this 59k mile 1 owner 91 Turbo MR2.

I was talking with a friend about why you would want to buy an original turbo 1991 MR2 instead of a swapped NA --> Turbo 91.
Writing down the differences kind of surprised me.
Besides the obvious differences in drivetrain (engine/transmission components) this is what I came up with:

Better brakes (dual piston in the front, etc.)
Dual spring clutch pedal
Raised engine lid
Gauge cluster with higher MPH/Redline and boost gauge
Fog lights (on most)
Center console storage box
Lumbar adjustment on driver side seat
2 way adjustable headrests
More plush carpet in cabin (firewall, rear storage box lids, etc.)
Bigger radiator and fans
Again, there are a million drivetrain differences (shifter cables, stronger axles, hubs, bigger exhaust, stronger motor mounts, etc. etc. etc.

The biggest selling factor for him was Toyota put the parts in and not some 14 year old kid in his parents driveway who thinks torque wrenches must have something to do with welding and he shouldn't need one for this swap.
Some of the wiring hack jobs on these swaps I've seen is down right scary to me.

We restore them when we can.
