Yesterday, I sampled all sorts of junk food. I'm still meatless, but yesterday was the 1st time I fully gave into the junk food craving in 3 months. came home like....ummm where my purple chips mom? 🫣😳🤷🏿‍♀️

He later found the bag in the trash can and wanted to know why I threw his chips away. 😳👀🤔🤦🏿‍♀️

He clearly had been thinking about getting home to finish that bag of chips. 😁😂

What did I do? I prepped my food and snacks for the next few days. The main reason the chips ended up in my hands... I failed to prep for my week. Grabbing those chips was the easiest thing I've done in months.

So today I offer you 4 tips to start again, when you hit a bump in the road:

1. Acknowledge It.
2. Recommit by deciding on a better/different course of action moving forward.
3. Don't beat yourself up for more than 5 min.
4. Keep Going

*Bonus...tell your kid the truth about what happened to the chips! 😂

It is with great anticipation to dive into this topic with Latricia Singleton-Clark. Most children are in school for 7-8 hours a day. Play a sport or some other extracurricular activity, it goes up to 10 hours or more. Majority of that time a child is with their teacher. Educators are crucial in a child's life and in my eyes they are the real MVPs and should be celebrated! So we're going to do just that, while discussing the highs and lows of the profession and so much more.
