Friendswood Police Chief Josh Rogers had the honor of swearing in four new officers at the Pearland Police Academy graduation ceremony on July 2, 2026.

Join us in welcoming Officer Dominguez, Officer Abbo, Officer Jordan, and Officer Hayes as the newest members of the department.

We would also like to congratulate Officer Abbo on winning the fitness award. This award was given to the cadet who exemplified excellence in the physical fitness standards of the academy.

The Friendswood Police Department would like to congratulate Captain Price on his recent graduation from the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program at the University of Houston.

This program is a nationally recognized leadership development program for public sector professionals. The program provided advanced training in organizational leadership, personnel management, budgeting, communication, performance improvement, and strategic planning. Through coursework and a capstone project, developed skills directly applicable to law enforcement leadership, including team development, resource management, and organizational effectiveness. The successful completion of this program demonstrates a commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement in public service leadership.
