We took Romy to Turkey to get some minor cosmetic surgery this weekend and quickly stopped in Cancún on the way. She was a champ and will have a much easier life with a full head of hair and veneers. We are so grateful that she won’t go through her days as an uggo.

Thanks to Delta Air Lines for letting us commemorate Romy’s last day as a baldie with a pic in the cockpit.
A little traditional bingo magic with Auntie Jana on the way quelled our superstitions, and we did the customary strawberry dip to stimulate her hopeless baby follicles.

We explained the horrors of what lurks in the ocean, but Romy seemed unafraid. She’s a trooper which caused me to look inward. Through a process of hardcore psychedelics I finally accepted my own dinner roll-shaped honker of a nose and decided to do something about my own short-comings as well. It didn’t hurt that we got some BOGO bargains on our procedures when we landed in Istanbul. Thanks, Dr. Çelik!

With the blessings of our community we agreed to post untrue, mean-spirited things about strangers on the internet to prove that we are good people. It worked! Now we are beautiful.
