So lucky

To walk away from a crash like this is a testament to one simple decision, wearing a properly worn seat belt.

A 19-year-old driver was traveling on Goldenrod Avenue north of Belmont when he drifted off the roadway and lost control. His vehicle cleared a canal before crashing into the opposite embankment, sending the car end over end.

Despite the violent rollover and mangled wreckage, the driver walked away virtually unharmed.

Seat belts save lives. Today, this young driver got a second chance because he was wearing his.

The fastest way to end up on CHP Fresno’s page?

Drive over 140 MPH on Highway 168 risking everyone’s lives including your own.

Sorry, but the car’s going too.

Don’t be surprised when your day ends with flashing lights, handcuffs, and a tow truck.

A crash at Manning and Englehart in Reedley ended with a dramatic drive-thru.

A Toyota Corolla pulled into the path of a Honda Odyssey, sending the Corolla like a missile into an unoccupied building.

Thankfully, only complaints of pain injuries were reported.

Seatbelts and a whole lot of luck made all the difference.

Take your time at intersections. One rushed decision can change everything.
