Let's talk COVID-19 precautions. Todays category we would like to further discuss is Employee Education. Prior to returning to work from shelter-in-place, at the time of hire and throughout employment, CarrollCo, Inc. will educate all employees in a language that is readily understandable about how they can reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the latest information from the CDC and Cal/OSHA.

We discussed procedures like cleaning and disinfection, and policies on illness. Some additional precautions we would like to share:

 Inform Human Resources if they have a sick housemate with COVID-19 or if they came
in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 while unmasked.
 How an infected person can spread COVID-19 and to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and
mouth with unwashed hands.
 Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as tools, workstations, computer keyboards, telephones, handrails, and doorknobs.
 Avoid using other employees’ tools, phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, when possible. If necessary, clean and disinfect them before and after use.
 Practice social distancing by avoiding employee gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible.
 Wear a face covering to protect persons around the employee when combined with physical distancing and frequent hand washing.
 Avoid non-essential travel if possible and check CDC prior to travel.
 Telework from home when possible.
