There’s nothing quite like celebrating Baptism Sunday at Bridge Church!
This weekend, we witnessed lives transformed as people publicly declared their faith in Jesus and took their next step in following Him. Every baptism is a powerful reminder that God is still changing lives, restoring hearts, and making all things new.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17

What are you still carrying that God never intended you to carry?
Forgiveness isn't about pretending the hurt never happened. It's not excusing the pain or saying what was done was okay. Forgiveness is about refusing to let yesterday continue to control today.
This week in What's Next?, we explored three powerful truths:
• Their admission is not a prerequisite for your forgiveness.
• Unforgiveness keeps you locked in the past.
• God gives you the power to forgive.
Freedom begins when we release what we've been carrying and allow God to do what we cannot do on our own.
"If the past is controlling your present, you're choosing to hold on to it."
Following Jesus isn’t always easy.
There are days when faith feels difficult, the challenges feel overwhelming, and the road ahead seems uncertain. But God never asks us to rely on our own strength. He invites us to depend on His.
When we feel weak, He is strong.
When we feel weary, He renews us.
When we feel defeated, He reminds us that He has already overcome.
No matter what you’re facing today, don’t carry it alone. Lean into God’s presence, trust His promises, and remember that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…” — Isaiah 40:31

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.
As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to pray for the families of the fallen, for those who continue to serve, and for peace in our world.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
