We’re going to call this post because this set up at Central East for was just beautiful, but took a ton of work. First, we had to secure the Broadway set from . Then we had to strip the theatre stage clear of all lighting, draping, and move up all the electrics, batons, motorized projector screens to make more space for a set made to go in a theatre with fly lines. Next, because there wasn’t a large loading ramp or doors big enough to fit everything inside on their carts, we had to carry a lot of the steel set inside. We then hung our fixtures on stage and began building the risers upstage, the floor made for the set got laid down, the walls began to go up, and all the pieces that would sit on top of second story we had to hang behind the set and alter how the layout would be to fit the lower ceilings but still look like it was meant to be this way on the stage. After everything was secure we ran lighting all over the set and our audio on stage and in front of house. We even hung outdoor string lights in the entry and had a VIO night with dinner outside before the show. One week of solid rehearsals and opened to an amazing show that we won’t forget! Today brings us to a recent classroom install that was up and ready to go in a few hours. It includes 4 FR150z and 4 Cob Canon LP200. We used computer based software and it’s up and ready to go for classroom performances and to help get students ready for the big stage feel!

Next up to highlight is a touring rig that went out with They’ve trusted us with all the tech for several years now and always put on a great, educational experience that’s different from others. We usually only get a few hours to set up so we have led walls on carts, a floor package of lighting with low lines and smoke machines and a Shure wireless mic and IEM package. We bring our own consoles and patch into the theatres main speakers and rigged lighting system. Always a pleasure and fun to do shows with you all!
