At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, the thunder of war stilled. Across the Western Front, the echoes of battle faded to silence as the armistice between the Allied Powers and Germany brought an end to the great conflict. One year later, President Woodrow Wilson declared November 11th as Armistice Day, which became a federal holiday in 1938. In 1954, Armistice Day became Veterans Day, to honor all veterans – regardless of when they served.

In 2024, the dollar caps (or "amount in controversy") for California Small Claims and California Limited Civil cases will go up!
✅ Small Claims case maximums filed by individuals will increase from $10,000 to $12,500.
✅ Limited Civil case maximums will increase from $25,000 to $35,000.
What does this mean?! How could this affect you?! Your real property legal issue?! Your eviction issue?!
