The Fresno State Buldogger Rodeo Team is a group of student athletes that participate and enjoy the sport of rodeo. With a current membership of 35, and still growing, teammates participate in different and exciting events; Tie Down, Break Away, Bull Riding, Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing and Goat Tying. In a rodeo setting, slack refers to preliminary or overflow rounds where additional contestants compete to qualify for the main rodeo performance. This is often necessary in popular events where there are more entries than can fit in the evening’s lineup. Slack gives these competitors a chance to showcase their skills in events like roping, barrel racing, and steer wrestling!
Join us for the Fresno State Rodeo slack starting at 8 AM tomorrow! This is a perfect opportunity to see some top-notch performances up close before the main event at 6 PM. Admission to slack is free, so bring your friends and family for a day of exciting rodeo action.
