The Barnabas Fellowship, a new community engagement and leadership cohort for 18-24 year olds, is now active in 11 cities across the country... and Fresno is one of them!

The Barnabas Fellowship is a 9-month leadership development cohort for young people serving in or wanting to pursue ministry or community-based work! Participants are connected with local nonprofit or ministry service sites, where they serve up to five hours each month in volunteer work and engage in biblical curriculum while receiving a stipend as part of their leadership development journey.

The Fellowship is led nationally by Leadership Foundations, and the Center for Community Transformation at Fresno Pacific University is honored to join a growing network of cities investing in the next generation of faith-driven leaders. Cohort 1 was a success, and we're excited to launch Cohort 2 in the fall!

What a joyful evening of celebration!

We were honored to celebrate 40 graduates from our Certificate programs at the Center for Community Transformation, including 19 graduates from the Certificate in Community Transformation and the first graduating cohort of our Certificate in Children's Ministry with 21 graduates.

The evening was filled with worship, inspiring testimonies, and a special commissioning as we sent these leaders back to their churches and communities equipped to serve.

We also celebrated four of our seven congregations receiving Children's Ministry Mini Grants to strengthen and expand their ministries.

Congratulations to all of our graduates and grant recipients! We can't wait to see how God continues to work through you.
