It’s been a little over 3 months since you took your last breath and your soul went to heaven . I’ve look at this picture on my fridge every day since not just wishing to hear your laugh or feel the way you gave me hugs but missing all of your presence . It’s a difficult thing to watch someone you love so much die , It’s strange and shocking . To really see our body is just a body a vessel for our soul . I constantly am thinking about those last days . And though in some ways those memories are a burden , a source of pain to see my father in such a vulnerable unrecognizable state in his last moments . I wouldn’t change being able to be there and comfort him . To hold his hand , pray over him that he would have no fear or pain , and say I love you and to hear him say it one last time back . I’m thankful for the father you were to me , your patience , wisdom and relationship with Christ has made a huge impact on who I am today and the choices I’ve made . I miss you terribly but tremendously thankful
