Appointed by Gavin Newsom, she is on a mission to advance the health and well-being of every Californian.

Her career spans decades of service—from leadership at the California Department of Public Health to caring for patients as an OB-GYN with Kaiser Permanente. She has also helped shape national conversations through her work with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Hispanic Medical Association.

A visionary advocate for equity and healthier communities, Dr. Ramos is helping reshape the future of public health.

Register Now! FCHIP's Annual State of Our Health Luncheon🎉 FCHIP is proud to announce our Annual State of Our Health Luncheon, taking place on March 19, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Come work with us! We are seeking a Program Administrator in Kings County with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will serve as a support to multiple community-based organizations employing Community Health Workers contracted to provide care coordination through the HOPE Pathways Community HUB. The Program Administrator coordinates the administrative duties in building, implementing, and sustaining the HOPE Pathways Community HUB in Kings County.
