Yesterday was World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, a global call to recognize, prevent, and respond to the mistreatment of older adults. Elder abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, financial, and neglect. It often goes unreported and unnoticed, especially when older adults are isolated or without access to consistent care.
Our Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) supports vulnerable, low-income seniors at risk of institutionalization by connecting them with personalized care management and services that allow them to live safely at home.
Protecting older adults means ensuring they are not only safe, but also respected, supported, and connected. Learn more about how MSSP helps safeguard the dignity and independence of our aging population at the link in our bio.

Mental health is a vital part of overall well-being, and supporting it starts with early access, education, and empowerment. During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to highlight two impactful programs helping youth build resilience and find their voice.
Young Minds Kings County equips TK–12 students with tools to manage stress, boost emotional regulation, and strengthen their performance in and out of the classroom through evidence-based, school-based mental health services.
The HEAL Project creates space for healing and advocacy among Latinx and Black youth through healing circles, leadership coalitions, art expression, and an annual youth summit focused on equity and social change.
These programs remind us that when we invest in young minds and create space for healing, we nurture stronger futures for all. Visit the link in our bio to learn more.

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a time to recognize the strength, culture, and contributions of AANHPI communities. California Health Collaborative is proud to support health equity through the API PACT program, which provides culturally responsive to***co prevention and education for AANHPI youth and families. Honoring heritage also means standing up for healthier futures.
