Before your session, shave and exfoliate with water-based product 8-12 hours prior to your appointment. Do not apply body lotion or perfume. Take dark, loos-fitted clothing and flip flops, and wear a dark swimsuit underneath. In the hours immediately after your tanning session, do not sweat or come into contact with water until you rinse after 1-4 hours (depending on your desired shade) Finally, do not moisturize until after your first shower, which should be 8-10 hours after your first rinse. The tan will last about 7-10 days if you keep your skin hydrated and well moisturized by applying a daily body lotion, such as cocoa-butter.
