State Center Welding

We began our intake assessmens for cohort #2 of the State Center Welding Program this week!

Thank you to Will Oliver of Fresno County Economic Development Corporation for visiting our welding program earlier this week. State Center Community College District is proud to work with community partners to build programs that train the future workforce of the Central Valley!

After thorough safety training, State Center Welding begins hands-on instruction of the SMAW (Shield Metal Arc Welding) process, also known as stick welding. This process helps build the fundamentals before moving on to other types of welding.
