The St. Louis Public School District's system-wide print and mail center was badly in need of an upgrade. Costs were rising and equipment kept breaking down, so the district turned to Ricoh. "We now have better, faster and more sophisticated printing technology at a cost that was 25% less what we were paying before." Said the Executive Director of Technology Services for the District.

Improving the Print Strategy in Education

Many schools and universities have an array of printers and copiers, some connected but most of them are not. Tracking rates and costs are often a nightmare. Oregon State University found that partnering with the local Ricoh supplier enabled them to devise a plan to improve monitoring and tracking, that also simplified management and was easy on the environment.
