Derrick (AKA- Farmer JOHN) your local back yard gardener. What's my story? Working in todays industries and with other companies you start to realize how much of life your really missing out on. In a blink of an eye it could be all over. The American Dream, the nine to five work day is great but what if, you could do something that you truly enjoy and love and is passionate about. Gardening was a hobby of mine to get away from it all and it turned into something that was much more than a hobby. Gardening is my passion. Providing food for my family and friends while food security is a concern. I am very laid back person but as soon as I walk into my garden I am energized. I Love talking about what I grow and the Health benefits they have. I love teaching people how to grow and how to become self sufficient in todays world so we can all spend more time with family and friends while going through the stress of everyday life. God plays a huge role in my life and I let him guide me in the direction he wants me to go. So I am extremely exited to start this Journey, and plan to bring you all with me. Because in the end our health, mental health, and safety is the number one concern. So always remember to take care of yourselves and each other.
