This July, Ohlone College invites the Tri-City community, and musical theatre lovers throughout the Bay Area, to its annual Summerfest. Over five days in mid-July, Ohlone’s award-winning Theatre and Dance Department will present Urinetown The Musical! A sidesplitting comedy of greed, love, revolution (and musicals!), in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.

Ohlone College's Fremont Campus and Newark Center will be closed on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in observance of Independence Day on July 4. We will resume operations on Monday, July 6, 2026.

🏳️‍🌈 Today is the last day of + Pride Month! To celebrate, we're shining the spotlight on our wonderful LGBTQIA+ community at Ohlone College. Say hello to Kelsey Bensky, our Rising Scholars Counselor! Here's what she wants our community to remember this month:

“I want our Ohlone community to know that, while pride month is a great time to honor LGBTQIA folks, it’s important to show up for the q***r community all year long! Much progress that has been made, but there is still a long way to go in the fight for q***r rights, especially when it comes to trans and gender non-conforming folks. Using inclusive language, not assuming one’s sexuality and/or gender, and (where possible) disaggregating data to better understand how being q***r impacts other experiences – these are shifts that can make a big impact in the lives of our students, staff and faculty.”
