The Freeport Trailer is a registered 501(c)3 providing those living in poverty with attaining basic human needs, tools for self empowerment and a giant helping of dignity and friendship! It was opened as a hiring site that would provide a safer place for day laborers to connect with contractors, instead of congregating at Home Depot. Eventually, the trailer closed in May of 2009.
