Established in 1940, the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization supported by the city government, the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services and through generous donations from local citizens, businesses & groups like you. Fredericksburg Rescue is a member of the Rappahannock Emergency Medical Services Council (REMS), Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads (VAVRS)

Today three of our members stepped away from their work and family commitments on short notice to help staff a backfill medic unit to support our partners at , while they responded to a commercial structure fire.
