Heather Ridge School

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, we celebrated a milestone by graduating our largest class to date, with 21 students becoming Heather Ridge School alumni. This number does not include students who graduated from their home schools while Heather Ridge School was part of their educational journey.

This year’s graduation brought many exciting firsts for our school community. We had student speakers at both graduation ceremonies, and our podium featured artwork created by one of our graduates. This meaningful piece will now hang in the school as a reminder to all students that, even when their path looks different, they can still rise like the Phoenix.

We are so proud of Madalyn! We can’t wait to see her graduate today.

FCPS Class of 2026 Graduation Spotlight: Madalyn Mann found her place at Heather Ridge School, where smaller classes, supportive teachers, and hands-on learning helped her succeed academically and personally. Through pottery and art classes, volunteering, and leadership opportunities, she built confidence in herself and is now preparing to attend Frederick Community College after graduation.
