Israel Is Reopening To Tourists, Regardless of Vaccination Status Israel’s prime minister just announced that the Middle Eastern nation will soon reopen its borders to foreign tourists, vaccinated or unvaccinated, subject to testing requirements.

EU Announcement (August 30, 2021)
On Monday, the European Union voted to remove the United States from its “safe list” and recommended that its member nations prohibit non-essential travel from the US. The media has created a climate of increased anxiety and confusion, leading many to believe that Americans will be denied entry to EU member countries. This comes in the midst of peak travel season, with many of you anticipating upcoming travels that have been previously delayed, in some cases multiple times. In light of the broad misunderstanding of this development in Europe, and any misinformation being disseminated, it is incumbent for us to share facts and information that are reality based.

• The EU decision is only a recommendation to its 27 member countries
• The EU has no authority to require members countries to restrict entry to travelers from the US
• To date, no countries have elected to follow the EU recommendation to deny entry to US travelers

There are places Internationally including in Europe that are open and waiting for you to visit. I’ve traveled to 3 countries this year with only a negative RAT test.

In a couple weeks, I will be traveling to Croatia to attend the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) Destination Expo. I am going to Zagreb, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. I have a planned trip to Montenegro as well. I am really looking forward to travel and visiting this wonderful country. I will be posting pictures and observations of my travels. Stay tuned!

Travel to Italy is back!

The new rules for travelling to Italy require guests to respect at least one of the following conditions:
• providing a certificate of vaccination, with both doses and only with Ema-authorized vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson);
• demonstrating that they have been cured of Covid for no more than six months;
• having taken a swab test within the 48 hours prior to arrival in Italy.
Please note that quarantine is no longer needed for guests arriving from the EU, United States and Israel and that it will be possible to attend concerts or sporting events.
