Since 2014, we’ve created nearly 1.1 million hunger-free weekends for kids across Frederick County.

🍂 When our community shares, kids thrive.
This fall, many neighbors, families, and workplaces are choosing to share their resources to help children in Frederick County have hunger-free weekends, and we’re so grateful. This allows us to ensure that nearly 3,000 local students receive weekend food bags on Friday at school.
If you’re looking to donate food, our goal is to provide kid-friendly, easy-to-open, and shelf-stable foods that children can enjoy without preparation or equipment. Every item helps bridge the weekend hunger gap and provides kids the nourishment they need to learn and grow.
Donations can be dropped off at 1016 N. Market Street, or we can help arrange a pickup. Together, we’re building a community where every child has a hunger-free weekend. Thank you for being a part of it.
