The Fourth Trimester

Hi there! I'm Zoey and it's so nice to meet you! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm a Newborn Care Specialist serving DC, Maryland, and Virginia. When I had my first baby in 2017, I realized there was a gap between pregnancy/birth and postpartum education. I had read the pregnancy books, spent countless hours on Pinterest planning the nursery (IYKYK), and packed the hospital bag (90% of which I never even used) but I hadn’t even thought about planning for what to expect once the baby was actually HERE.

Well, a few years, a couple more babies and a pandemic later, here we are! I decided to take a leap of faith (and step way outside of my comfort zone) to create an in-person newborn class to help prepare parents for the 'fourth trimester', hence the name 😊️ After providing overnight care to families with Hush Hush Little Baby Newborn Care, I decided I wanted to do more. I understand having overnight care isn't always an option, so I wanted to make something that was more accessible in order to reach as many families as I can. I'm a firm believer in knowledge is power and I think that's really what I want to provide to families. I want to give you the tools to help you feel confident and ready to take on the newborn stage.
