VAN Community Outreach

VAN Community Outreach (VANCO) honored several distinguished guests during our 4th Annual Fundraiser Banquet. Their continued support to our organization through significant financial and in-kind contributions were key to the establishment of our 6 libraries and 2 computer labs. These honorees include Dr. Sean and Nancy Hunt, Mrs. Katie Straughan of Lucy's Consignment, Mrs. Viola Essuah-Mensah, Mrs. Teresa Maynor, Dr. Jo-Anne Manswell Butty, PhD, and Mrs. Elizabeth Chung of the Asian American Center of Frederick.

As thanks, VANCO awarded our honorees wooden sculptures the map of Liberia that were carved by Liberian carpenters!
