Just finished this illustration of Big Ben in London and it’s a slight departure from my previous travel illustrations, but January is about experimentation! I did a watercolor commission in December and remembered how much I loved and missed painting with watercolors. I had a chance to play with new brushes for Procreate and added people, which is a subject that normally feels difficult, but worked out well, I think. The goal is to have enough illustrations for a 2027 calendar! What do you think of this new digital illustration?
