Trash Panda Terrarium Workshop 🦝

If your social media algorithm is like mine, I’m sure you’ve seen Jimothy the raccoon (If you haven’t, do yourself a favor and google him). Jimothy and his adorable self are the inspiration for our latest terrarium workshop, lovingly named Trash Panda!

In this workshop, you will be making an adorable little trash panda playground, including your very own trash pandas and trash bin! Materials include:

• A glass terrarium with lid
• Substrates such as soil, sand, stones, and tiny bricks
• Springtails (super tiny insects that clean the soil and maintain terrarium health)
• Various plant cuttings
• Little plastic raccoons, a trash can, and a terracotta pot
• A plastic squeeze bottle for watering

You will be given in depth instruction on how to care for your terrarium, as well as have time to ask any and all questions related to the terrarium!

All attendees will also receive 15% off in the shop the day of the class.

Crafting, but make it planty!

Join Kaitlyn, and her mom Kathy, who is the owner of Primitive Homespuns, as they guide you through the process of flat felting your very own potted plant!

Each student will receive a kit including:
• Bamboo Hoop
• Foam Pad
• Colorful Wool
• Felting Needles
• Wool Felt Sheet with Pattern

In addition to the kit, students will also be given light refreshments.

Due to the use of felting needles, we ask that all attendees are ages 15+ to avoid any potential injury.

Students will also receive 15% off their purchase the day of the class! (excludes consignment)

Preserved Moss Frame Workshop

Looking for a plant workshop that requires zero plant care? This one’s for you!

Join us at the shop on Sunday, July 19th from 4:30pm-5:30pm for our Preserved Moss Frame Workshop!

Each student will receive two shadow box frames (5”x5” squares) to fill with a variety of preserved mosses, cork, bark, wood pieces, and dried flowers & leaves.

Guidance will be given on how to begin arranging your frames as well as how to assemble them.

Since these frames are made of dried/preserved materials, there is no care required!

Students will also receive 15% off their purchase in the shop the day of the class.

We ask that participants be 12 years or older and accompanied by a parent since we will be working with various types of glue.
