Heads up, everyone managing public SSL/TLS certificates! Certificate validity periods are officially getting much shorter starting this month. Certificates issued before March 14 can still have a maximum lifetime of 398 days.

Certificates issued on or after March 15 drop to a 200‑day maximum. In 2027, that window shrinks again to 100 days. By 2029, the maximum lifetime will be just 47 days.
