For over 45 years, The Outreach Foundation has connected Christians in the United States with church partners around the world. We help our global partners train leaders, start new congregations, expand their outreach programs, and strengthen their ministries of compassion. We raise funds to support missionaries, projects, and partners who are sharing God’s love in word and deed. We take about 20

An Outreach Foundation trustee sent us this video he recorded on his recent trip to Mozambique. The gentleman in the video is an elder who wrote and performed this song of praise -- if you listen carefully you can hear him thanking The Outreach Foundation by name.

We are so grateful for our partners, and that even though we are sometimes separated by language, joy is a universal tongue! We praise God for this gift.

Are you passionate about mission?
Are you ready to for a new thing?

Join us and our friends The Antioch Partners and Frontier Fellowship as we host the next Connecting Mission Leaders conference, coming to Houston this fall!

The Connecting Mission Leaders (CML) conference brings together pastors, mission directors, lay leaders and mission enthusiasts--providing opportunity for missiological reflection, worship and prayer, building relationships for collaboration in mission, sharing best practices and more.

CML is an ideal gathering for people who are passionate about God's mission in the world and who desire to be more effective mission leaders and mission catalysts in their local church contexts.

There is something really special that happens when the trustees and staff of The Outreach Foundation are all together in one place. The past two days we gathered at Westminster Presbyterian Nashville to imagine, and yes, to dream about the future God has in store for us. And friends, we can confidently say that future is so bright.

We had the opportunity to welcome new board members (more on them soon!), whose first official act as trustees was to create a new emeritus position. We are so pleased to honor former Executive Director and longtime champion of The Outreach Foundation Rev. Rob Weingartner with the title Executive Director Emeritus. Several trustees spoke about the impact he has had on their lives, and friends it is an understatement to say he is much beloved within this organization, and it would not be what it is today without his leadership.

We heard from our China Mission Consultant Chris Bin Wang about our partners in China and his ideas to nurture community for Christians both abroad and here in the U.S. He emphasized the critical need for cultural understanding in order to foster connectedness as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Friend of The Outreach Foundation Dr. Ivan Rusyn, President of the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary, spoke to our group about the ongoing struggles within his war-torn country and his work as a chaplain to soldiers on the frontlines. "When a soldier comes home from the war, he will remember how the church cared for his children," he said. He asked we continue to pray for peace there -- even harder than we did when the war started four years ago.

Our Executive Director Mark Mueller detailed the incredible opportunities ahead of The Outreach Foundation, as well as some of the struggles. Access to conflict-ridden countries continues to be a problem for global travel. But with new challenges, come new possibilities. That is what our board is now tasked with discerning.

We give thanks to God for our time together and look forward to learning what our collective imagining yields for The Outreach Foundation.

Friends we ask for your prayers as our staff and trustees travel this weekend ahead of our Board of Trustees Spring Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.

Together we will gather and imagine the beautiful future we are working toward here at The Outreach Foundation. Several of our partners will be on hand to give us in-person updates about their ministries. Our staff has prepared critical updates and analyses for our trustees so they may use their knowledge, passion, and skills to discern God's will for The Outreach Foundation. And folks, we know that future is so bright!

We can't wait to see everyone in Nashville!
