From the very first brick to the very last one... we did it. ❤️🔨

What started as an overwhelming challenge became a powerful reminder of what can happen when volunteers, supporters, partners, and community members come together for a family in need.

Thousands of bricks removed.
Three dumpsters filled.
Countless volunteer hours.
One mission.

Every brick that came down brought us one step closer to creating a safe, accessible home for the Reyes family.

This wasn't just demolition.

This was teamwork.
This was determination.
This was community in action.

And we're just getting started.

Just when we thought the surprises were over... 😳🏠

Now that all of the brick has been removed from the Reyes family home, we're moving into framing and window installation.

But exposing the structure revealed something important: foundation settlement.

This portion of the home was originally a porch that was enclosed years ago, and over time the foundation beneath it has begun to sink.

The good news? It's repairable.

The lesson?

If you notice sloping floors, cracks, sticking doors, uneven windows, or signs of settlement at your own home, don't ignore them.

Small structural issues can become much larger problems if left unchecked.
