The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD) is pleased to share the publication of Recommendations from the Blue Ribbon Panel on Fluoroscopy Safety, a comprehensive consensus paper focused on improving and standardizing radiation safety practices for the use of fluoroscopy in health care.
CRCPD contributed to the development of these recommendations as part of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Fluoroscopy Safety, convened by the American College of Radiology (ACR) beginning in October 2023. Over more than two years, the effort expanded to include over 30 organizations representing a broad range of fluoroscopy stakeholders. The final paper was reviewed and approved by the CRCPD Board of Directors.
We thank ACR for their leadership on this initiative and for making the publication publicly available.
