Yangon, Myanmar: In 2019, Peach Foundation started the scholarship program in Myanmar.
Myanmar is the poorest country in Southeast Asia, average households earning $120/month. In 2021, the military took over the ruling party and many civilians were affected by bombings. Many have fled their homes. Currently Peach Foundation has provided financial aids to 292 Myanmar students(105 in orphanages and 187 in Myanmar schools) and will continue supporting them until they finish college.

Siem Reap, Cambodia: A single mother and her 4 daughters sit at their outdoor kitchen. This mother is a farmer (makes $600/year), has a few chickens (can sell for $3 per chicken), and sometimes finds work as a day laborer doing manual labor ($5/day). She wants to support all her children through college so they can have better opportunities than her, but it's very difficult. Many children need to quit school and work.
We are glad to find this family before any of the children had quit school. Peach Foundation supports poor students with yearly scholarships and will continue supporting them until they finish college. One child with a college education can help 10 people in her family.
