Abstract Zebra Art

One of my favorite paintings,Hathor,Warrior Queen (she is big like Texas as a 72” x 72”) will head to her new home today in Austin, Texas.

It was a slow and thoughtful process to create her, around 3 months and around 300 hours. Each painting is different of course, but with glazing and multiple layers for the effect of a floating constellation in the heavenly skies, she is all I hoped she would be.

It’s strange - it feels like sending one of my children out into the world, sweet and sad, proud and painful all in the same moments.

There is truly something mystical and magical in The creative process, dancing with the Divine.
