Clean Start Initiative

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released the 2017 Annual Homeless Assessment Report. According to the report, on a given night in January 2017, 40,056 veterans were experiencing homelessness. Today is the third anniversary of the founding of Clean Start. Special thanks to @clairebearkern, @escregion11, @thepropergentleman, and my mom for all the time, effort, or toiletries they’ve donated in order to help homeless vets. When you’re a nonprofit that doesn’t accept money, those are the most valuable donations we receive. In light of the recent flooding going on in Houston, we as an association would like to do our part to help out our fellow Texans. We will be taking up donations in the board room Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6-8PM and on Saturdays during the games at the field. Donations will be taken up until September 30th. Items needed are listed on the flyer below!! Clothing, Toiletries, House Goods, Baby items, and Non Perishable foods. Anything can help. if you are wanting to make a monetary donation please do so with the Red Cross. Thank you all in advance!!!
