When your husband's business needs a new logo for his 'Off The Path: outside the lines' group golfing package, I get a little too excited and go into branding mode.

This is what he gets for a 2-hr session with me, haha. Sorry babe, I have a lot of other clients.

Creative Direction:
A play off of the California skater world Vans, Off the Wall. The messaging is directed at a little bit rebellious against the stuffy world of golf audience. Appeal to the regular person who doesn't need to follow all the rules exactly. But just wants to learn and have fun.

Ideal audience is women. Women tend to want group lessons. Less intimidation and more fun with their friends.

The Logo:
My husband gets the quick 2-hr logo version. I wanted him to at least have some branded look that he could use in his marketing and his website.

The Color palette: We're not doing a typical golfer green. This green blue color palette is a more modern take for the modern golfer and modern woman. This color palette came directly from my new color guide for authors. I love this palette.

The pattern: It's always nice to have a little texture or pattern that is uniquely yours. I created a subtle pattern using the crossed tees. He can use this in his social media and his website.

Merch: A great way to spread the news is through merch. However, I hate when the shirt doesn't look fun or like something someone would actually want to wear. With this logo, I wanted to make sure it was fun enough to be wearable on a tshirt. Also tshirts are a great marketing method to get people to ask questions.
