I’ll never not be a little pi**ed about my own wedding photos, if I’m being honest.

$3,000 in 2018… and what I got back looked like the left. Dark, muddy, unusable. I remember opening that gallery and just sitting there like… this can’t be real.

That’s why I’m so particular about my galleries. It’s not control issues, it’s lived experience. Someone dropped the ball on one of the most important days of my life, and I refuse to ever let one of my brides feel that kind of disappointment.

This was 2018. She double-booked that weekend, showed up with all the gear… and somehow didn’t use flash once. No getting ready photos. No reception coverage. We fed her, trusted her, gave her everything she needed to succeed.

I got 40 images back. Forty. And not a single one I could truly use.

I cried for days on my honeymoon. Not because of the wedding… but because the memories I was supposed to hold onto forever felt gone. Like they never got captured the way they deserved.

I fought to get the RAW files. And even those? Couldn’t be printed past a 5x7 without falling apart.
