Russell McIntosh founded McIntosh Energy in 1953 after serving in the Korean War. He came back to Fort Wayne and with $500 of borrowed money bought a truck and tank for delivery of home heating oil to the rapidly expanding neighborhoods. Those of you familiar with our Macfood Mart Brookwood location near the Fort Wayne Airport, may already know we have a third fuel canopy on-site that offers compressed natural gas, or CNG fuel.
Love's Travel Stops recently acquired 44 CNG locations, including the CNG fueling station located at our Brookwood site. With that change, you can now see the Love's logo on the CNG fuel canopy!
