Indiana Tech NSBE

On last Thursday, our chapter hosted our annual banquet!

The keynote speaker was Dr. Karl Reid, the Executive Director of NSBE. The theme for the year is overcoming your shortcomings: embracing your future greatness. In his speech he told us to develop grit, have a strong work ethic, and continue to persevere.

Dr. McGrade spoke kind words about our graduating seniors and their littles presented them with their NSBE graduation stoles.

Our chapter president, Cameron Owens, made an official announcement about the future of our NSBE chapter. We have raised enough money to start an ENDOWMENT that will sustain our chapter for future years to come.

In all, the banquet was an inspirational and successful night. Thank you to our banquet coordinator and the banquet committee for their diligence.

Congratulations to our Debate Team! Today, they were awarded rings for their victory at this past NSBE National Convention. Keep it up!
