SunKing Ice, Inc., a Fort Wayne-based maker and marketer of consumer bagged ice, has purchased, installed and started operating a new high-capacity ice-making machine. The company, which had previously purchased ice from an out-of-town supplier, is now the only ice company manufacturing and bagging consumer ice locally.

General information
SunKing produces consumer ice in seven and twenty pound bags and supplies refrigerated merchandisers (freezers) to the retail market and at special events throughout Northeast Indiana. SunKing Ice serves the Three Rivers Festival, local cultural festivals, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, Churubusco Turtle Days, area 4H fairs and other events.
