We consume too much content today that disturbs and distracts our happiness. The average American spends 2-4 hours per day on social media. I’m not saying that it is necessarily a bad thing especially if it is for work, but you have to stay cognizant and aware of what you are consuming and when you are consuming it. If you are looking at social media when you first wake up, you are starting the day with micro judgements that you may not realize can impact the attitude of your day.
Also, do not live in a state or comparing or consuming. How you engage on platforms sets the tone for your mental health. With mental health issues and disease skytrocketing in the past 5 years, it’s more important now than ever to be mindful of your social media interaction.
Do one practice, track how much time you spend in apps daily consuming or comparing? Ask yourself, is this stealing from my happiness and overall wellness?

3 hours before bed no work.
2 hours before bed no food.
1 hour before bed no phone or screen.
