I went as a spectator but had SUCH a good time at the Fort Wayne Air Show this past weekend. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! What a show!

I've got spring and beautiful flower blooms on my mind... Anyone else ready for spring?

Yesterday we attended a special ceremony in Whitley County for Wreaths Across America. It was incredible to know that community members and loved ones were able to purchase wreaths to lay on the graves of the 2,000 veterans in Whitley County! Absolutely amazing! I was able to Capture the Moments at Green Hill Cemetery. Once a wreath was laid, the veteran's name was said aloud as a way to REMEMBER them. Fellow military members saluted them while community members placed a hand on their heart to HONOR them. Then the ranks were said aloud to TEACH others about the service they gave for us.

It was an absolute honor to take part in this ceremony and I thank all those that allowed me to take their photo and to celebrate the service of Whitley County's veterans.

Whitley County Veterans Cemetery Cleaning & Restoration

A busy weekend! First, we took photos at the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner. But then on Sunday, we got to celebrate the holidays with a special visit from Santa to E Brewing Company! Guests and Families stopped by to talk to him and take photos, and even some furry friends had a chance to meet him! It was such a sweet afternoon, and I am grateful to E Brewing Company for allowing me to take part.

Today, and every day, it is so important to honor the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our families, our homes and our freedom. This Veteran's Day I want to say thank you to all who have served in peace and conflict for their dedication to this nation.

This past weekend, I had the honor and privilege of photographing the 249th Marine Corps Birthday Ball. The ceremony was filled with honor and tradition while also giving back to organizations in our area that are truly making a difference. Where is Hartland Photography this week? We are at the Lil Pumpkins Trick or Treating event in downtown Columbia City, put on by the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center ! We can't wait to see all the fun costumes and meet everyone!
