Freedom House is so blessed to be celebrating 35 years of helping individuals recovering from substance abuse. Here's a shout out to everyone who has been a part of our past, those who are linked with us today, and those who will be future friends.
We will be holding our 35th Anniversary Dinner tomorrow afternoon at Franke Park. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored this event and who has purchased tickets.

Do you know someone passionate about helping men in early recovery?
Freedom House is hiring a full-time On-Site Resident Manager to help maintain a safe and secure setting for clients and staff in our residential program. This salaried, non-clinical position includes on-site apartment/utilities, meals, paid time off and vacation. Salary ranges from $30,000-$36,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate level problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Single, adult male with a passion for serving adult males in early recovery
• Knowledge of how to maintain sobriety through a 12-step program
• Clean and sober, with a minimum of 2 years continuous sobriety in a 12-step program
• Ability to handle stressful situations with people-management / basic conflict-resolution skills
• Must live on-site in a private apartment
• Effective use of Microsoft Office / 365 (especially word, excel, outlook) and basic data management for record-keeping
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Minimum High School diploma or GED
Position Responsibilities
• Actively promote and strive to develop community atmosphere; communicate with, and serve as a liaison between residents, and staff
• Make regular rounds of buildings/grounds to ensure safety, security, and optimal facility operations
• Assist clients and peers in making appropriate decisions
• Ability to respond to any site issues or concerns at all times
• Deliver ongoing, non-clinical oversight of client activity
• Complete accurate and timely documentation utilizing designated software / processes
• Respond to emergencies or incidents through conflict resolution and crisis management techniques
• Perform routine non-clinical intake duties as required
• Recognize behavior changes and monitor client movement
