Embracing the Simplicity of a Life in Christ
---
🌟 Embracing Your New Identity
In a world full of noise, pressure, and spiritual striving, it’s easy to believe that your relationship with God depends on constant effort.
But here’s the truth:
You’re already alright.
You’ve already been made whole through Christ. This isn’t something you’re working toward—it’s something you’re learning to live from.
---
🌱 You’re Already Made New
One of the biggest misconceptions in Christianity is the idea that you must constantly strive or “die to yourself” to become more like Jesus.
But what if you already are like Him?
Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. That means:
- You’ve been spiritually reborn
- You have new desires
- Your heart is aligned with God
You are not defined by your past.
You are defined by who God says you are.
When you truly accept that, it frees you to walk confidently in who you already are.
---
🤔 Rethinking Humility & Self-Image
You’ve probably heard phrases like:
> “All of Him and none of me.”
It sounds spiritual—but the truth is 👉 God isn’t trying to replace you.
He already did by making you a new creation in Christ (2Cor 5:17).
He’s embracing you.
False humility says:
“I’m unworthy.”
Truth says:
You are fully approved.
You are not “filthy rags.”
You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
---
🕊️ The Simplicity of the Christian Life
The Christian life isn’t complicated.
It comes down to this:
You are already like Jesus
Romans 6:13–14 reminds us that you’ve been brought from death to life. You are no longer under the weight of the law or your past.
So what does that mean practically?
- You renew your mind daily
- You align your thoughts with truth
- You let go of old patterns and step into new life
This is where transformation happens.
---
🌈 Living It Out (Simple + Practical)
Here’s what this looks like in everyday life:
1. Wake up and remind yourself who you are.
Approved. Loved. Accepted.
2. Go live your life.
Enjoy it. You’re free.
3. Repeat daily.
Consistency strengthens identity.
---
💬 Final Thought
Stop chasing approval.
You already have it.
You’re not trying to become someone—you’re discovering who you already are.
You are loved.
You are accepted.
You are victorious.
So go ahead—live like it. 🦋

If this encouraged you, feel free to reply or share your thoughts. I’d love to hear what resonated with you.

FAQ
What is wrong with using some of the Ten Commandments as a moral code to live by?
We are not free from sin by keeping a part of the law. We are free from sin apart from the law (Romans 7:8).
God put His laws (not the old covenant law) on the inside of us (in our spirit).
And we have the Holy Spirit inside of us to guide us.
If you try to keep the whole law and fail in just one point, you’re guilty of all of it (James 2:10; Galatians 5:3).
How can a person stop sinning without living by the Ten Commandments?
A believer in Christ does not want to sin because it’s not our nature to do so (Romans 6:1,15).
Sin will not have dominion over you when you are under grace (Romans 6:14).
How is living by the 10 Commandments a bad thing?
The 10 Commandments don’t stop sinning; it increases sin (Romans 5:20; 1Cor 15:56).
The 10 commandments are called the ministry of death and condemnation (2Cor 3:7,9).
