Project 216 - Fight Hunger. Give Hope.
Learn how you and each one in your family can make up and send meals per person to those struggling with hunger here and around the world. Project 216 (formerly Kids Against Hunger FW) equips our community with opportunities to package bags of rice-soy based meals that contain the optimal nutritional content needed by someone who is starving or malnourished. These meals are then sent to reliable organizations in the US and abroad where they are distributed as needed.

Join us tomorrow at Glenbrook Mall to explore the many ways you can make a difference in our community with Volunteer Center Fort Wayne.
❗ Did you know? Federal funding from FEMA and the Emergency Food Assistance Program that supports local food banks and pantries has been indefinitely delayed.
That means food pantries are now relying even more on the generosity of our community to feed families in need.
At Project 216, we are so grateful for local organizations stepping up — like The Lighthouse: A Place of Restoration — who continue serving our neighbors in the East State area of Fort Wayne, even as their shelves grow alarmingly bare. 🛒💔
👉 You can make a difference. Learn how to help at: https://project-216.org
Together, we can fill the shelves and bring hope to those who need it most. 💙

We were so blessed to have served with these wonderful volunteers from St. Johns Lutheran Church of Lake Township last Sunday afternoon. They packed over 21,000 meals to feed thousands of children facing malnutrition fed through the Feed The Hungry USA "Every Child, Every Day" program. What a real way to show God's love to others. Thank you for being our Hope Heroes! 🥰
