Taylor Chapel Ministries

Eight years ago today, Angela and I had the incredible privilege of becoming part of the Taylor Chapel family. Looking back, we are overwhelmed by God's faithfulness and deeply grateful for each of you.

Together, we've experienced seasons that none of us could have imagined. We navigated a global pandemic. We walked through the difficult process of disaffiliation from the United Methodist Church. We faced challenges, uncertainty, and change, but through it all, God remained faithful, and so did this church.

What a joy it has been to watch God at work!

Together, we have more than doubled our church membership..

Together, we've seen worship attendance rapidly grow..

Together, we've watched Taylor Chapel Academy grow nearly tenfold, becoming a vibrant ministry to hundreds of children and families..

Together, we've grown to a team of more than 40 dedicated staff members and countless faithful volunteers who serve Christ with excellence every week...

Most importantly, together we've seen lives changed, people come to faith in Jesus Christ, families restored, children discipled, and our church become a place where people can truly encounter the love and grace of God...

This happened because we chose to trust God, work together, pray together, serve together, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. This has never been "my church"- it has always been our church, and more importantly, His Church.

Angela and I count it one of the greatest honors of our lives to serve as your pastor and partner in ministry. We love this church, and we love each of you.

As we celebrate eight wonderful years together, our prayer is simple: that if it is God's will, He would graciously allow us to serve alongside you for another eight years. There is still so much work to do, so many people to reach, and so many lives to touch with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for loving us, praying for us, encouraging us, and walking this journey with us. The best is not behind us. By God's grace, the best is yet to come.
